Steps Required To Improve the Standard Of Engineering

Engineering , a unique term due to which we are living in a modern age.Its the thing that made life easier on earth.For travelling abroad we have planes,ships, for preserving food we have refrigerator, we have phones,mobiles to communicate with anyone at any time and even from anywhere.Today with the help of search engines like google,yahoo we can anytime know about anything, atleast about 99% information of 99% products is available their and we can even buy or sell anything by just one click.In every sector engineering is working to make our life easier and more easier.Its a gift of god to all of us which is making our life easier but due to the efforts of our engineers it is possible.
But now a days engineering this word who changed the whole world became a topic of fun in India.Whats your son is doing?Whats your brother is doing?When we answer "he is doing engineering" they all laugh inside, there's nothing wrong in their mentality because they are watching thausands of engineer who are jobless and choosing different sectors for earning money.Its because of lack of knowledge which an engineering student is gathering from institutes and due to which they cant grab job easily and have to involve in different sectors for earning money.If he wants to make career in engineering then he/she has to do variety of courses to grab job in the top industries, means first invest a lot money in institutes then also you are not hired and then again do extra courses and then it makes 80% chances of getting hired.
First case-
As according to the modern trend schools have started courses for 11 and 12 class students to learn programming like c,c++,html for those who want to take IT branch and etc. for different branches.But, did somebody made him/her aware about the scope of branch ,what kind of working is preferred in a particular branch, have conduct any college visit for students, have conducted any seminar of HR or professer of higher college or companies.School will arrange various seminars but seminars which are related to the future of students are not arranged by them.School department will suggest each student to take it/cs branch as the scope of IT /CS is vast, but there asre still other branches in which students can do well by their hidden talent and hardwork.Did parents ask their children that you want to take IT/cs as your branch its ok but are you aware about the working procedure of that branch or field?, why not you are choosing mechanical or electronics branch?parents generally "concentrate on IIT exams,Aieee exams".Is it right ,i dont think so,there are only selected seats in these institutes work hard no doubt in that things but after getting institutes you have to select the branches then at that moment only on the basis of guidance of one or two relatives or brothers you select the branch and if its interested you will study and if not then the result we all know,you will become engineer but job will be a tough role due to lack of knowledge.Its a first part of scenario.

For this schools can conduct college visit where students can have practical demonstration of each branch with working and according to their choice they can select the branch and study hard to grab that branch.
Parents can ask college authorities to guide their child about the branches and they can even send proposals to schools to take initiatives for it.
Second case-
Suppose You get selected in IITs and Aieee institutes but what's now.You have to work hard there as many students before reaching to institutes start prepration by taking classes of programming languages etc and then that institutes no doubt brush up your talents but only few get package over more than 5 million rupees and few will get package below it and rest will be jobless and still search for better knowledge and then get placed in mncs.
Institutes which are not affiliated to IITs and AIEEe and affiliated to other universities puts more focus on basic as its a part of syllabus and basic need of that branch to initiate with that branch .But, instead of giving more focus towards practical approach everyone focus towards oral knowledge.Oral knowledge will make the student to answer in interviews but when the interviewer will go deeper and deeper on that topic he/she will confuse and will lose the chance of hiring.
The syllabus is so old and basic its a basic need but try to organise practical sesions on latest technologies in third year of engineering as the student is aware with java,c and c++.At this moment if you will make your student strong in latest technologies like cloud computing,big datahadoop etc courses then his package will also improve and mncs which never came to your university will come to you to hire your students at higher package.It will improve you standard your quality as well as your reputation and the career of student will more brigthen at the fresher level means you will brush him/her like an experienced person.
